Issue Comments

Threaded discussion on every 3D viewer issue — saved locally, synced live across LocusSync sessions.

Issue Comments

Every issue created in the 3D viewer has a threaded comment log for team discussion. Comments are stored locally in SQLite and sync across LocusSync sessions in real time.

Opening Comments

Open an issue from the Issues panel and scroll to the comment thread below the action buttons. The thread shows all comments chronologically with author badges and timestamps.

Adding a Comment

Type in the comment input and press Enter to post. The comment is immediately saved and, if LocusSync is active, pushed to all connected peers.

Real-Time Sync

When LocusSync is connected, issue comments appear on every peer's device within seconds. No refresh is required — the thread updates automatically as remote comments arrive.

Pending Changes Indicator

The LocusSync status bar shows a badge when there are markup changes, issue updates, or comments waiting to be synced to the server. The indicator clears automatically once all pending data has been uploaded. If you go offline, changes are queued and sent automatically when the connection resumes.

Tip: Use issue comments to keep design discussions attached to the exact 3D element — reviewers can see the element, the issue context, and the comment thread all in one place.
