Toolbar Customisation
LocusBIM supports flexible toolbar positioning. Show/hide toolbars and dock them anywhere around the canvas.
Showing and Hiding Toolbars
Go to View → Toolbars and tick or untick any toolbar. Changes take effect immediately and are saved to localStorage.

Markup Sidebar
The markup list panel on the right side of the PDF view is collapsible. Click the ◄ button in the panel header to collapse it to a narrow 28 px strip, giving more canvas space. Click the ► button on the strip to expand it again.
Changing Toolbar Position
Right-click on a toolbar's drag handle (grip bar) to open its context menu. Choose from:
- Top — docked above the canvas (default)
- Bottom — docked below the canvas
- Left — docked to the left of the page thumbnails
- Right — docked to the right of the markup sidebar
- Floating — undocked; drag the handle bar to reposition
Resetting Layout
Use View → Toolbars → Reset Toolbar Layout to restore default positions.
Tip: Toolbar positions are saved automatically — you only configure this once. The layout persists across app restarts.
